We offer various be experiences, for all ages and to suit your requirements.
Our 2 to 2.5 hour package includes:
Wearing a full bee suit and gloves,
Looking at the parts of a hive,
Lighting a smoker,
Visiting an apiary,
Trying to find the queen,
Handling a frame of brood and/or honey,
A tea of honey treats and honey tasting,
A souvenir certificate and photo taken during your visit.
Cost £60 for first person, discounts for additional guests
Experiences generally run between late April and early September depending on weather and what the bees are doing. We take bookings from early April, but reserve the right to postpone the experience due to poor weather or unforeseen circumstances.
We also offer gift vouchers, valid for 12 months from issue (or a significant date) to allow the recipient to book their experience, at a time to suit. A perfect birthday, anniversary or festive treat!
We hold DBS certificates and Tony is a qualified and experienced teacher, so ask about our school visits too!
